Improved: The aNewSpring platform allows learners to interact and navigate through the learning environments by only using their keyboard.
This includes the ability to see which actionable item is on focus at the moment.
The changes are so far applied to the following places:
The login pages, including the access code input and resetting password.
The homepage, including the Competency tab and modal, and the Bundle modal.
Changed: Additionally, clicking on text-fields will also show a clear border to indicate it’s on focus. This way learners can see clearly that they can start typing.
Learners - Matching question
Improved: Learners can expand or collapse a card in the matching question when it contains a lot of text.
Learners - Reset password
Improved: The information at the ‘Forgot password?’ flow has been updated with better explanations.
Assessing - Hand-in assignment
Improved: When assessing a hand-in assignment, Excel and PowerPoint files will be opened in a new tab instead of having to download the files.
Course - Add learners
Improved: The user experience for adding learners to the courses has been improved. The process now happens on the same page and the loading time is reduced significantly.
Content - PDF content
Added: A new content type for PDF content has been added to the plus-editor.
This content type has the option to restrict users from downloading the PDF file.
Bundles - Update bundles and bundle courses
Improved: The ability to add templates to bundles and courses to bundle courses, even when these are already in use by learners.
Improved: The ability to remove templates from bundles, even when there are bundle courses attached to the bundle. (This feature will release a few days after the release date of March 14 2023)
Added: Learners will be notified about a new subscription within a bundle course, via a platform notification.
Bundles - Learner groups
Added: The ability to add learner groups to bundle courses.
The same action is available via API.
Events - Managing learners
Added: In the Events tab, the activities to which the event has been added, will also be visible in the tooltip.
The ‘In Use’ column, including the tooltip, has also been added in the event groups tab.
Catalog - Free products
Improved: The option to filter on the maximum price, and to sort by free products, are not visible anymore when the catalog only contains free products. This also includes products with a ‘0’ price tag.
Competencies - Add certificate
Improved: A button to navigate to the previous step is added when selecting certificates for a competency.
Template - Notification (Live since March 2nd 2023)
Added: A new condition is added to the template notifications. The condition allows the notification to be sent on a specific date when a certain activity is not completed yet.
