Learners - An improved experience for logging into the learning environment
Improved: The login flow for users has been improved with a new framework for better stability and responsiveness, and new interactions for a smooth experience. The renewed flow includes:
The standard login experience, including two-factor authentication.
Resetting password when users forgot their current one.
Redeeming content from an access code with and without creating a new account.
Added: As part of the renewal process, we added the following new interactions:
Entered passwords are automatically shown with asterisks. You now have the possibility to show and hide the password you’ve entered.
When creating a password we show the requirements for ease
The way to enter an access code is changed to a button for consistency and recognisability.
Improved: Navigating to a non-existing page or facing technical errors are inevitable. To help users in such situations, we’ve improved the error pages to provide clearer explanations and relevant support options. The renewed pages include:
When the page you navigate to doesn’t exist (anymore).
Note: This page will be available shortly after the release.
Content - Generate multiple choice questions with AI
Added: We offer authors the possibility to quickly and easily create multiple-choice questions using our new AI question generator—an accessible, user-friendly tool for generating questions in their areas of expertise.
Authors can either input their own text or select existing content parts to generate questions.
They maintain full control over the generated questions, with options to keep, remove, or regenerate them.
To ensure a great experience, we've implemented a fair-use policy for the AI question generator. Each environment can generate up to 500 questions per month.
While this is a fantastic addition for content creation, the AI question generator is still in a beta phase. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.
Added: The possibility for hiding events that have already occurred is now also available on the event overview page for administrators.
Assessment - Complete activity after a passing grade
Note: This feature is already available
Added: The possibility to add assessment activities where learners must score a passing grade before the activity is completed.
Files - Upload multiple files at once
Added: While some places already allow you to upload multiple files at once, it’s not implemented everywhere yet. This time we expanded to the following places:
When assessing the external or webinar activity types as an instructor.
When uploading files at the files tab inside the content library. Note: This will be available shortly after the release.
Administrator - New permission for logging in as other users
Note: This feature is already available
Added: You now have the option to allow or disallow users with the administrator role to log in as other users.
Changed: Additionally, the existing permission ‘Log in as other administrators’ has been moved under this new permission as a sub-permission.
Template - Include shadow from your branding in block explanations
Changed: A few releases ago, we added flexible styling options for block explanations within the template, allowing you to display explanations with or without a frame. In this update, we've added the option to include a shadow, if it’s set in the look and feel, when no frame is shown.
Content - The plus-editor in German and French
Added: The plus-editor is now also being supported in German and French, next to English and Dutch.
API - Method for retrieving all events from courses
Note: This feature is already available
Added: You can retrieve all events that are added in courses by using the GET call '/getEvents'.
